eChallenges e-2010 Conference & Exhibition (27 - 29 October) takes place in the Marriott Warsaw, coinciding with Chopin's 200th Anniversary. Technical Co-Sponsored by IEEE, this is the twentieth in a series of annual technology research conferences Supported by the European Commission, which regularly attracts over 650 delegates from leading commercial, government and research organisations around the world to share knowledge and experience, lessons learnt and good practice in areas of applied Information Communication Technologies (ICT).

ADVANCE PROGRAMME

The Programme (http://www.echallenges.org/e2010/default.asp?page=programme-new) consists of over 150 presenters from 34 Countries encompassing Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Keynote speakers confirmed to date include:
- Mrs Katarzyna Sobierajska, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Poland
- Mrs Magdalena Gaj, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Infrastructure, Poland
- Representative, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Poland
- Representative, Department of Information Society, Ministry of Interior and Administration, Poland
- Mario Campolargo, Director, DG Information Society and Media, European Commission
- David Broster, Head of Information Technology & Services Unit, Joint Research Centre IPTS, Spain
The 3-day programme features an invigorating mix of business and government case studies, technical and policy papers and interactive workshops. As well as opening and closing plenary sessions, delegates may participate in over 50 thematically focused parallel session featuring different aspects of Networked Enterprise, eGovernment and eDemocracy, Collaborative Working Environments, Living Labs, eHealth, Intelligent Content, Technology Enhanced Learning, eInfrastructures and Security and Identity Management.
The conference programme is complemented by a demonstration and exploitation focused Exhibition, social events including a Networking Reception hosted by the Warsaw Convention Bureau (27 October) and a Gala Dinner hosted by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism (28 October).

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

There are a number of events taking place in Warsaw just before, during and after eChallenges and therefore it is necessary to book accommodation as soon as possible.
We have negotiated rates for delegates with Marriott Warsaw (Conference Venue).
